The hotel showed signs of age with sticky carpets and cobwebs on the ceiling. Problems included mold around the bathtub, discomfort of the bed, and high prices due to events in the area. An unnecessary $200 deposit complicated the check-in process, leading to frustration unsure about acquiring that kind of cash.

The location was perfect for an outing at Magic Mountain, just a short distance away. The room on the ground floor was convenient for our dog, and we enjoyed the unique experience of hearing the animals from the nearby zoo during our stay. The breakfast was a disappointment, with cold items and stale pastries. It was a mixed stay but had its highlights.

Everything was wonderful, magnificent location short walk to amusement park, the boardwalk and grocery store, courteous staff. They gave me a fairly quiet room with coffee maker, a nice clean bathroom, as example. A microwave and a refrigerator were available in the kitchen.

We just stayed to sleep. We were first given a room that smelled strongly of smoke and had two double beds instead of the queen we had booked. Then we were given a very nice king room that was clean and smoke free. Enjoyed the breakfast too. Good idea.
